i hate it how they sometimes change the translations. because sometimes Korean version gives so much info than the eng version (sometimes Japanese version also can give so much info. for example they explained the ending of A Mermaid's Tale where two sailors was talking about the Pearl and in Korean and English, they covered most of the info there but japanese version didn't do that they just didn't add the texts about the hidden words)

he sounds sm sinister and resentful in kr voice 🙏 i LOVE his kr voice (don't get me wrong i love eng voice as well, but kr voice really fits w the cruelty and anger smc is holding throughout the story so far)

И ведь голос действительно влияет на восприятие. В англ он кажется куда более безобидным, в то время как на кр реально ощущается как бист. Даже интонация в обоих озвучках совершенно разная. Не понимаю почему англ актер преподнёс его по-другому. Разве не должно быть так, чтобы озвучка была как можно ближе к оригиналу?

I HATTEEEE the localization for THIS REASON it’s so poorly translated that all of the nuances and subtext gets lost in translation, in the kr ver he actually gets to be a character and he feels more like an actual threat because he’s literally going insane

No truly!! He feels a lot more sinister and genuinely threatening to me. There’s a few moments where he drops the playful act and just sounds resentful and god… every time I learn more about how the EN localization changed things I wish I could see a more faithful translation
