When people say the first one they mostly refer to people asking pro artist for brushes thinking their art is gonna be better with their brush, brushes are really important when it comes to the arstyle, coloring, and overall look of the drawing but thinking it’ll magically change it and give you ur desire artist is where it doesn’t matter. An artist can have the best tool but if u don’t know how to use them they’re not gonna help much
