I still have PTSD from having to give my cat a bath 10 years ago after my neighbour was changing their engine oil and my cat jumped in the used oil tray. Was so hard to wash off and I was shredded after. Was so traumatic for the cat and I. I had to go to urgent care after for all the wounds I had. I still have scars from it.

By nature, cats are very clean animals because they constantly groom themselves. Humans must see otherwise though.

My son got a cat in high school, he tried twice to give her a bath. 🤣🤣🤣 The cat won and I never gave her a bath even after he moved out. She lived to 13.
