Me. Hogan was one of the best ball strikers there was. There are different approaches but his swing ensured you got good lag.

Notice how his right elbow is “tucked” fairly tightly to his side on the downswing. Very important for me.

But his swing doesn't follow his statement. His lead shoulder is HIGH at impact when does this drill but when he swings his front shoulder is LOW (like every pro on tour). Watch what they do, not what they say because these are swing feelings, not swing facts....

@Snaks4U2: Hold off on bringing the release. My best suggestion is to get to the top and drive your lead heel into the ground and you will unwind in a better sequence
