Why Cambodia attacked hospital???Cambodia's Unethical Aggression Against Thai Civilians In a blatant violation of international humanitarian principles, Cambodian forces launched a deliberate and indiscriminate attack on civilian areas within Thailand. The assault targeted critical civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, schools filled with children, a gas station, and a 7-Eleven convenience store. As a result of this heinous act, more than two schoolchildren were tragically killed, and a total of eight innocent civilians — including children — lost their lives. Such an attack represents a grave breach of moral and legal norms, and underscores a deeply concerning disregard for civilian life by the Cambodian authorities. We, the people of Thailand, hereby declare that our nation has always stood for peace, diplomacy, and mutual respect among neighboring countries. Cambodia is currently trying to portray itself as a “victim” in order to deceive the international community. The reality is that Thailand has never sought war. Our country is deeply concerned about the economic impact that any conflict would bring, as war would undeniably harm our economy. Thailand, as a nation with stable infrastructure and economic strength, has no reason to provoke conflict. In contrast, Cambodia’s economy remains underdeveloped, and its leadership may not be fully considering the long-term consequences. The country already struggles with a negative image—high crime rates, disinformation campaigns, and instability. The attempt to accuse Thailand of being the aggressor makes no sense, unless it is a deliberate distraction from the fact that Cambodia initiated hostilities, and Thailand is merely defending itself within its rightful means.
