Don’t enter the room if you’re not ready or can’t process as fast as you can see, don’t dig your corner for to long, get out of the doorway, primary and secondary scans, 1FT off the barrel of your partner for scans so you don’t flag them, moving move calls letting team know you see something and want to get it, if there’s another door in the room repeat the process.

In the academy, we did this every week, room clearing, building clearing, SIMS, etc, and even in the field we still practice with abandoned buildings to establish communication as a team. Great team building if you’re Mil or LEO
