Hi Beth! I’m a tongue cancer survivor too! I was 25 back then (now same age as you). It’s strange to suddenly stumble upon someone who has lived more or less the same, since the disease is so rare. So proud of you❤️I have a question. My bil had the same and sometimes I have a problem with understanding him. Due to his condition but also language barriere. Englisch isn’t my 1st language. I’m ashamed to ask him twice, becuz I don’t want to make him feel bad. Do you have a hard time when people ask you twice? Or to repeat the sentence?

My dad also lost his tongue to cancer. He went through 3 surgeries and radiation. It was incredibly difficult, I can empathize with what you went through. Thank you for spreading awareness! Congrats on being cancer free!!!!
