I actually started to cry watching her video. She tries everything to get the clearest, most honest, easiest-to-verify information from the healthcare workers. They simply refuse to cooperate with her. This is life threatening. This is murder.

I work in billing. I have a patient who no longer has the ability to eat due to damage to her mouth structures. UHC paid her feeding tube placement, but is denying all supplies and formula because the hospital didn’t receive prior authorization to place the tube. Its inhumane

I love that doctors are obligated to try the cheaper treatment and have it not work before they can try the more expensive one. what a cool way to run a healthcare system

I have a bachelor's degree in writing and literature. Google has started using Ai for Autocorrect and it is mostly wrong. I can't imagine trusting it with health care.

I work at a pharmacy and I've had 2 patients over the last year mention that they're doctor doesnt do PAs. I've never heard of this and it seems wrong on the providers part. any thoughts?

And ultimately, the peer to peer is for determination of medicinal necessity. Not a guarantee of claims payment. A peer to peer can be done and a claim denial can still occur. On the bright side, insurance companies have taken a pledge to improve the PA system starting 2026

Universal healthcare does peer to peer in a more ethical way IMO, typically a broad policy is put in place for covered and uncovered procedures/meds/etc that is decided by a panel of physicians utilizing research to support their decisions. Then physicians can seek coverage for uncovered services, via an application & guidelines.
