If you ever want to do another anime convention in Texas do San Japan. That's coming from a person that previously wanted to go to what was considered "That largest anime con in Texas" (Anime Matsuri), after doing my research, watching youtube videos, tiktoks, and looking up controversies online, I quickly realized it was NOT worth going to. San Japan on the other hand is 💯 worth it and they've been upgrading things every year!

Highly recommend you promote your business at other markets and events. Anime Matsuri has been getting expensive for people and there’s also people who refuse to attend due to some allegations. 💜

That cons 1000% north worth it as an artist or as an attendee. I’ve gone twice and honestly Dream Hack, San Japan, and Anime Frontier do it wayyyy better

I stopped going to matsuri after finding out about the owner AND his wife. Had attended at least five years in a row,but after years of dealing with com geossness and incresing congestion in downtown and at the con itself. cant bring myself to spend a dime there again til changes are made
