her parents FAILED regardless of right away or not if your walking or on a bike you dont assume everybody sees you or that they will stop if it's between you and 2000lbs of steel doing 30 or 40 you will loose every time hope she's ok

It's called a crosswalk for good reason. If you are in the act of riding a bike you are subject to the same traffic laws as other vehicles.🙄😏

that driver is completely in the wrong. she has to yield to pedestrian cross walks. she was speeding and didn't pay attention.

This could’ve been avoided. The woman driving the car should’ve been looking ahead and slowed down near a crosswalk. You should always look ahead when driving.

I actually had this happen to me. I got hit by a cop when I was on my bike, busted my bike and dislocated my shoulder and it was a brand new cop on the force.
