Alsooo - I wouldn’t say they have the same sound. I feel like that’s a constant talking point of people who don’t listen to their bsides as a group. Jump sounds nothing like really or stay sounds nothing like kill this love, etc.

No I totally get you!! It’s just all of the same stuff for years and years but their fanbase is just soooo dedicated haha. I do appreciate them more as solo artists though tbh, I think they’ve just outgrown the group and want to have that freedom to do more than just music!

I think them having a consistent sound with some variants (pop,edm, some aspects of hip hop) is what their fans like from them. No wonder blinks are loyal. A lot of groups lose what makes them special to varying concepts and sounds. The Blackpink sound is a brand at this point, why would they change that?
