That seems like a compliment to me, I’ve not met anyone in their twenties (myself included) that wasn’t messy, prentious and mildy obnoxious. It’s okay that’s part of growing up but it’s a lot nicer being in your thirties and not acting like you’ve got something to prove. I feel like (aside from the usual percentage of people who are just miserable no matter their age) when people hit their 30’s everyone seems a bit more kinder to ourselves, and I’m grateful for it

When I was younger I never thought I'd make it past 30. I made it past 40. Growing old is a privilege many people will never have. There's no shame in it
