I just learned about how sour dough can damage plumbing!! I wash my stuff in a large bowl of warm water, dump on my outdoor plants, then wash again with soap and rinse. Keep the dough out of the drain.

Y'all make the bread and we can e throw some dish soap in there, turn it upside down for a couple hours and then it's easy to clean
