idk maybe unpopular opinion but I do think we owe people basic human decency 😭 I think as a society we are lacking empathy and community. I am gen z, 02 baby. I think there are valid criticisms of all generations, gen z is just really defensive and unfortunately technology really does contribute to it😭

I forgot who said it, but community necessitates inconvenience. Yes you technically do not owe anyone anything, but community is about truly be vulnerable in a way that so few of our peers can do without layers of irony/humor/smugness/self-victimization. Like it’s as simple as to have a friend you have to be a friend.
