There is a serial # on a 4473 , make model serial# and while they say they don’t store the data, they do, that’s how Leo can see if you’ve ever bought through the system.

just because they're not registered doesn't mean they weren't purchased legally. you still have to go through a background check and waiting period.

I spent most my life in Pennsylvania and now currently live in tennessee I promise you Pennsylvania gun freedoms are crap. If you purchase a gun from an FFL the serial number and gun make and model is recorded. the only way around it is a person to person purchase

Bro, I’m from New York. I have a concealed carry permit. It takes six months to get it and every pistol you have to register through the county clerk. You could get a pistol the same day you purchased it if you have a full afternoon off. I’m aware of how it works. I’m also gonna get a concealed carry permit from your state. At the end of the summer. But if the state could look up any website you’ve ever been on the location of your cell phone for the past 10 years. They got every background check on file on the Internet. Maybe not ones from the 1980s and before but anything recent 100%.
