A lot of people who own teacup stingrays will say their pups LOVE to play at night time!!! Stingrays have also been recorded during studies that they blow water and splash water around when they see humans approaching them which was not related to food. Some love being pet and ripple their fins like a purring cat. They swim with their pectoral fins not their tail. Pups also play with toys in their tanks. There’s heaps of ray hobbyists on monsterfishkeepers . Com ❤️

I used to clean the sting ray tank. They are so curious and love attention. They would come over and sit on my legs while I scrubbed. I bet the bigger ones coming over wanted to know the game too lol

So everything I read on google says that it is generally not a good sign to see them doing this, but I did see that apparently it can sometimes be a female's way of indicating that she is ready to mate. but with the missing tail I feel like it may be stressed, disoriented or in pain 🥺🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭

Our zoo has a big stingray touch area and the babies make my whole day every visit they’re the cutest little raviolis I’ve ever seen 😭
