I don't understand why people like this don't understand that everyone does not have the same options. I don't know anyone that paid child care just for the sake of saying they're working. EVER! I HAD to have my children in child care and still felt guilty about it.

I tried the stay at home mom thing and did it for 10 months and I almost lost my ever loving mind. 😅 I am not built for that. I put him in daycare and went back to work. No regrets. My son loved daycare. We just made sure to pick a good one, did a lot of research, etc before choosing.

Kids at my mom’s daycare call her today and many are in their 40’s. They love her and their experiences.

Mostly importantly those kids need socialization. Unless you have early childhood education training under your belt, you’re hindering your children AND stunting your own career at the same time
