That happened to me too back in 2021 then I got it back and now recently a couple weeks ago my taste is off and my smell is off. Everything taste different and things smell terribly like my perfume, but I’m not sick. I even took a test to be sure and it was negative.

I'm the same. It sucks. Some days I can taste fine, others I can't taste anything. It will even change throughout the day. So I never know what im going to get or if im going to get to taste my favorite foods. It's hard for me to cook too because I can't taste my own food. So I never know if it is bland, over salted, nothing. I hate it

Garlic, onion, precooked chicken nuggets, coffee, and peanut butter were my number 1 triggers for five years. I never thought I’d feel normal again but definitely feels nice that I’m starting to. It does get better guys! Even if it feels like it never will.

Used to have the biggest sweet tooth, got covid in 2021 and I physically can’t eat anything sweet anymore. Even some fruits can make my jaw clench bc it’s overwhelming to eat. It’s a blessing and a curse. I sound so stuck up when I say oh I don’t want dessert or I don’t like sweets anymore 😭🙃🥲 my body says no, my mind wants a sweet treat

Me too. Caught it RIGHT when it came out in march and i was still in uni. Lost it for a month and a half and my taste and smell are back but very much altered 😭

When i got covid the first time in 2021 i couldn’t taste or smell for a year. It made me actually depressed as a foodie. Then i got it again pregnant and was fine. And i just got it again this week and lost it for three days but it’s back

I used to get strep throat sometimes 2-3 times a year before I got Covid in 2021. I haven’t had strep since. Idk what that means, but I haven’t had strep.
