I had 2 in my ear, they got infected for months, I had to remove one. After it healed I got a white gold piercing as I might have a reaction to some metals some earrings are mixed with. Check Maria Black, they are Danish but send worldwide, they have a whole collection of gold piercings.

Idk if you’ve completely given up yet but I only use gold or implant grade titanium on my piercings. And downsize asap so I have a small bar in there that’s less likely to get bumped

I had to do a chamomile tea soak on my nose piercing when I first got it! I also only use jewelry recommended by the piercer. Had it 12 years now!
