All I been caring about lately is character growth and seeing characters fleshed out, everything else comes secondary. That being said, the racing scenes made up for it imo but I get the critique & i think it’s time to move past pitt

Yeah I agree, story and character progression was flat. Damson and Kerry carried acting wise. What kept this up for me was my love of the sport and that Hans Zimmer score.

The way I see it Kate finally got actual real feedback on her car, and with that was able to perfect it. it wasn't Brad Pitt magically fixing it for her, it was just her previous sensor (Idris) not being calibrated. She still made the best car in the game, none of her achievement was stolen by the guys

Spot on about Damson’s character. Underwritten in a way that a young white male character would never have been. Never gave him one victory either. Inexcusable.
