I did this with mine, no one played it with me but I was exposed to music from the 30’s to current growing up. So when runaround sue came on in my car one day (a favorite in my car) and my daughters friend was so confused and had never heard it my kids were shook 😂

I did this with my kids while they were growing up. We called it Saturday music night and everybody got to play music of their choice while the group played guess who it is and learned about new and different music.

My mom did this while I held her tea in my right hand (regular cup, no lid) because she had a smoke in her left hand and steered with her right, and every time she said now I shifted with my left hand. I was 8 🤣

Usually my dad played this game, then my brother. 😂 But for real, my taste in music is all thanks to my parents. Dad was born in 59 and mom in 65. They got all the good stuff.

😎I had homework for my literary magazine class in high school and handed in the lyrics to War Pigs for my homework. The teacher published it in our school’s literary magazine. 😏(1986) good times

So True. My mom loved music so much. I Grew up listening to it all and played music for my kids. This morning my little one (12) said her song of the day is Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath. My heart melted. ♥️

Did it! Took my daughter to dentist and he asked his assistant who was singing the song playing, she didn’t know, so my daughter said supertramp lol he was genuinely impressed!

My daughter knows because my husband played it with me. 💙 I knew all the songs but never cared who played it. 😎 He couldn't believe he told me 2 days ago and I didn't remember 🤣 I got better 👏 My daughter who wanted to learn can out do me though👏👏💙💙

Credit to my mom and dad!! I do the same with my kids. If my daughter or son wanted a band tee…they had to tell me at least 3 songs said band performed or no band tee. I aint raising no posers!!!

Yes! My mom would crank up the song and say “trivia”. We had to name the song and artist. I try it with my own but we do not have the same taste in music…at all
