🚨 ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. 🚨 This is what’s happening at Cleveland, Texas Pound— and it’s being ignored by city officials and Chief Broussard, even after volunteers have begged for action time and time again. There are only 11 kennels in the entire facility — yet 23 dogs are currently ( July 23,2025) crammed inside. And many of those kennels were designed to be indoor-outdoor runs, but instead of giving the dogs that relief, William (The ACO) locks the connecting doors to double his “kennel count.” That means some dogs are left outside all day — in the Texas heat and by his standards? In dirty kennels with no water or human interaction. Dogs are being crammed in crates, placed in filth, sick animals next to healthy ones — spreading disease and fear. We have photo and video proof of a puppy with bloody stool crated next to three others in the center of the facility — potentially exposing every dog in there to illness. That same puppy had previously been placed in that crate on top of another dogs waste. The dog that was in the crate before? Left to free roam the facility by William exposing it to dangerous situations. This isn’t rare. It’s normal here. From July 18th to 21st, a dog was left locked in a crate too small to stand in, with no water and sitting in another dog’s waste. He was terrified. And William did nothing. There are no staff watching or caring for these animals. Only him—and he has shown us time and time again he does not care for these animals. If volunteers hadn’t come back when they did, that dog might not have made it. July 23rd — a dog that volunteers had been working with, loving, and believed in was euthanized without warning. No list. No notice. He claimed it was “behavioral issues.” But how would he know that? The dog likely barked at him. He was scared and confused like most that are in the pound. Ghee I could only guess why? Because William doesn’t feed them. He doesn’t interact with them. Volunteers do. They are the only reason these dogs get food, water, a clean place to lay down or even basic human kindness and compassion. Let’s be very clear: 👉 If volunteers weren’t there, many of these dogs wouldn’t have a chance. They clean. They feed. They walk. They sit with the scared dogs. They pay vet bills out of pocket — including the humane euthanasia of a dog with a BROKEN BACK that William didn’t even know was suffering. Volunteers pay out of pocket for vaccines, preventatives, and funding. Why you ask? Because HE DOESN’T CARE FOR THEM! And the dogs being killed? Not the ones who are critically sick. Not the actually aggressive ones. Why? Because he doesn’t care enough to actually spend time walking, feeding, or even cleaning the space HE crams them in. He euthanizes random, healthy dogs — ones that could have been saved. The lists are inconsistent. The process makes no sense. And when volunteers speak out, they’re banned from the pound. They’re blocked from helping. Why? Because William and the city don’t want the public to see the truth and they don’t want to spend the money to care for them. Many of the dogs brought in aren’t always strays — they’re people’s pets. But instead of trying to reunite them with their families, he does zero outreach. No photos posted. No public effort. Owners have no idea their dogs are even there half the time — until it’s too late or they see their pets posted on a VOLUNTEER’S page and reach out. And if someone does find out their dog is there? They’re told it costs $15 in cash to reclaim their pet — and no receipt is ever given. Where is that money going? We are heartbroken. We are furious. And we are DONE being quiet. This is abuse. This is neglect. This is corruption. And it’s being allowed to continue despite our constant efforts. Please share this. Please speak up. These dogs need a voice. #fyp #xyzbca #dogsoftiktok #awareness #share #repost
