I’m okay with responsible screen time (short periods during transition times, example after lunch letting the kids watch a 10 minute video while prepping for nap, letting the late pick up kids watch something while cleaning the room, an occasional movie day).

At work. My children are offered 15 minutes of iPad time a day. If they choose. We do movies once or twice a month.

when i used to go to daycare the TV was on all the time but this was when kids shows were really focused on being educational and not just brain rot… we also were encouraged to play with the toys and play pretend. tv was often background noise.

nope wouldn’t send my kid. i’m a toddler teacher and we have zero screentime in a 7 hour day. the only time i think it’s okay is when the school day is 8+ hours long because everyone gets tired of kids after that

So we are open 11 hours a day. Most kid are their 9-10 hours are kids typically have about 5-8mins of screen time a day. Usually a zoo phonics song video. Our days are way too busy for screen time. Under 2 videos are not allowed though I have had like coco melon songs on and have to chase down a tot who steals my phone to try and watch😂😂

My center has a max of 30 minutes per week for children 2+ and it has to be related to planned curriculum. For example, we watched a 5 minute video last week about rhinos and then we did a movement activity related to rhinos.

If I wanted my kid to sit in front of a TV all day I'd take them with me and do it myself, honestly. There should be more going on in their day.

we only do TV time during summer and one for Christmas. and anyone 2 and under only gets 1 hour of screen time, and none of that includes infants. I can't imagine sticking my class of kids in front of a screen all day

Used to be teacher for 2-4 year old. We had tv from 7-7:30 ish while we waited for everyone to get to class and then again 5:30-6 waiting for parents to pick up (I think they did this to have all kids in a big room and less teachers)

We have a full 12 hour day for most of my kiddos; all under 2, they are NOT allowed to have screen time PERIOD. I cannot even allow them to see the iPad screen whenever I put on music or input their day into our daycare app. This is insane
