ounce they are out the incubator, do you put them with the other chickens , does a grown up chicken take on the mama role, or are they self sufficient and stay together growing up?

Kinda like baby humans.. most people think they are born and instantly need to have 4-6 oz of milk..but they are just fine rooting around, figuring out the suckle reflex for HOURS!! Just to get a half oz. They’re not starving- bc they’ve been sooo well fed by their own placenta. They just need to learn how to suckle/ swallow.
