I was a bit sad that superman wasn’t the one to save them at first. But looking back on it, it’s such a good decision. Instead of “only superman can save them” it’s “anyone can save them”

I absolutely adore how they chose to not show Superman saving them, because it highlights how Superman isn't almighty. He can't save EVERYONE. There are times where Superman isn't available, but what the TRUE power of Superman is, is how he inspires. Those people didn't give up hope, and although it wasn't Superman who saved them in the literal sense, Superman saved them in how it empowered them. Those people still held on to hope even when it seemed hopeless, and the Justice Gang only showed up because Superman, or more accurately what Superman means, inspired them to go there and do what was RIGHT. Superman can't save everyone. He just can't. But what he CAN do, is inspire everyone to be better. To keep fighting, for yourself and others. To not give up hope, and the value in help.
