@gretaaanderson: is going from 0-1 harder or 1-2? 0-1 is just a complete lifestyle change!! #1to2kids #momchat #momadviceneeded #MomsofTikTok #pregnancyannouncement #pregnant
I made it a point to get my toddler up every morning before the baby woke up so that we could sneak in some 1:1 time before starting our day. Even if it's only 15-30 minutes I can tell he really enjoys having my undivided attention. He also LOVES being the one to go wake up little sis. ❤️

When you bring the oldest into the hospital room for the first time, don’t have the baby in your hands. Greet them first, then have dad bring the baby to you both while they’re in your lap. Already a big transition, and seeing mom with a new baby can be confusing and emotional! 🫶🏼

Fit the newborn into the toddlers schedule/ routine, not the other way around! And let the older sibling be involved in what they want to be involved in and help with. 💖 also reading books about becoming a big sister/ welcoming a sibling helped a TON!

1-2 was super easy for us. Included big brother in everything (that he wanted to be apart of), planned lots of fun activities for him that was easy for me to go with baby as well to keep him busy that first week!

1-2 was a breeze for us! we just made sure to include big sister on everything. when big sister came to see baby at hospital, we had baby in the bassinet and we met her at the door and brought her in together to show baby. we also got a little gift "from" baby to big sister!

Personally going from 1-2 was easier than 0-1. You just have so much more confidence as a mom and your heart WILK grow🥰 just get through the first month and it gets better and better!

I have found from reading comments on other videos that most people who struggled from 0-1 found 1-2 to be really easy for them! I was the opposite but we also only had a 21 month age gap and I struggled with prepartum and postpartum with my second pregnancy. Even if you do find it hard at first it gets better.♥️

1-2 was a breeze! (For me). best advice: let big brother help and feel included. You will probably fear you can’t love them equally, and it’s simply not true! Your heart just gets bigger 🥰

Everyone’s experience is so different but we found it so much easier than 0-1. One important advice, never blame anything on the baby “I’ll help you once I feed him/change him” etc. We also used to say to the baby “let me help big brother first then we’ll get your milk”. Just so our first felt important. Obviously the baby has no idea 😅

Have a 18 mo baby girl and another girl due in Nov. I’ve been feeling so guilty because my first still needs me so much and I don’t want her to feel replaced.. but an older friend said “I promise.. the second will come and it’ll feel like she’s always belonged there.” ❤️

My best advice was that anytime big brother wanted to hold the baby, drop whatever you were doing and let him!

0-1 I thought was an absolute breeze compared to 1-2. PP was more difficult trying to meet both kids’ needs. It still has its challenges, but I’m adapting.

Soon to be 2 year old & 1 month old here - biggest tip is get the double stroller if you can!! Getting outside & moving is so regulating for everyone.

The first few months of 1-2 did not make me feel like my heart doubled in size. It made me feel like my heart broke in half. However, eventually we hit our stride as a family unit and it’s been tiring but magical as a family of 4.
