Maybe House isn't something I should have watched growing up. Or maybe, it was exactly what my young, incredibly traumatized brain needed. life is pain. I came into this world in pain. I routinely fight myself and my brain. But its also more than pain. Its love. Its light. Its human experience. House isn't wrong. But he continues to help people where he can. Even while he suffers the most. None of us want to be in pain. But if having painful moments helps me find moments like seeing my friends, having game nights, writing, loving, living.... then... I will take all the trauma, all the abuse, all the chronic conditions, all the migraines, all the brain injuries.... Just to get a chance to live a little here and there. #house #lifeispain
