I don't get that... I went from a 1080 to a 3080. I shit my pc down, took the 1080 out, put the 3080 in. Restarted my pc and it ran fine, my FPS went through the roof without any issues at all.

AMD has a built in tool for this. And quite honestly ive only noticed this issue with Nvidia.

that tool is called Linux, no worrying about drivers, I haven't installed a single driver in my two years of using arch, (I had 3 GPUs, more than one at a time a couple of times and multi monitor setup) no issues whatsoever, just plug one out, plug another one in, plug a second one just for fun, because why not
