Day 3 of 30 cozy family dinners: salmon bowls ✨ RECIPE -> ~ ingredients: -1 cup jasmine rice -2 filets salmon -1/4 cup soy sauce -1/2 tbsp sesame oil -1 tbsp honey -2 tsp garlic powder -1 tsp ground ginger -1 tsp red chili flakes -2 tbsp brown sugar -1 tsp sea salt -for serving: soy sauce, sriracha, sriracha aioli, sesame seeds, chopped cilantro, diced green onions, sliced cucumbers ~ 1. Preheat oven to 450F. 2. In a medium saucepan bring 2 cups water and 1 cup jasmine rice to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for about 15 minutes until rice is cooked through. 3. While rice is cooking, cube salmon and place in a greased baking dish. 4. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic powder, ground ginger, red chili flakes, brown sugar, and sea salt. Whisk together and pour over salmon. 5. Toss to make sure salmon is coated in sauce, arrange in a flat layer, and place in the oven for about 10 minutes or until salmon is cooked. Place under broil for 1-2 minutes at the end for extra crispiness (highly recommend). 6. Place rice and cooked salmon in bowl and top with your favorites: soy sauce, sriracha, sriracha aioli, sesame seeds, cilantro, green onion. Serve with sliced cucumbers for a cooling element (especially if you love the sriracha). Enjoy! ~ I wanted something a little more exciting than just salt and pepper on my salmon, so came up with this yummy marinade - it is packed with flavor and gives you all the comfort food feels without being too heavy! 🙌🏼 ~ Let me know if you try this and come back for episode 4 🤭 ~ #EasyRecipes #familymealplanning #californiamom #toddlermom #salmonbowl #salmonrecipe #20minutemeals #quickdinnerideas
