After a few strongly worded phone calls from McKenna’s dad, it was clear the lunchroom drama wasn’t cooling off anytime soon.   So I grabbed my @@FullStar Houseware chopper and we went to town—loading this sandwich with sizzling beef, melty cheese, and a mountain of fresh toppings.    INGREDIENTS Cooked Filling (pan): 🔸 1 lb ground beef (80/20) 🔸 1 large yellow onion, chopped 🔸 1 bell pepper, chopped 🔸 1 jalapeño (or serrano for more heat), chopped 🔸 2 garlic cloves, minced 🔸 Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder to taste 🔸 Dash of Worcestershire sauce 🔸 4 slices American cheese or cheddar   Cold Toppings (chopped raw): 🔸 2 dill pickles 🔸 1 roma tomato 🔸 ½ cup shredded lettuce   👨‍🍳 INSTRUCTIONS 1. Use the chopper to dice your onion, bell pepper, and jalapeño. 2. Toss them in a hot pan with the ground beef, garlic. 3. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and a splash of Worcestershire. 4. Once cooked, place cheese slices on top. Let them melt, then chop it all up together in the pan. 5. Use the chopper again to quickly dice your pickles, tomato, and lettuce. Mix them in a bowl. 6. Toast your hoagie rolls and spread with mayo, ketchup, and mustard (or your sauce of choice). 7. Load up the cheesy beef mixture, top with the chopped cold mix, and drizzle on extra sauce if you’re bold. 8.
