it doesnt mean anything for the future cause clearly anyone or their mother can make a completely different version at the drop of the hat. this movie has no bearing on any future superman or DC versions what so ever. the only thing it was influence is a sequel made by the same director.

movie got pushed in to far ahead felt dialog missed its point of how this beginning started. Would've love to see more then a few words telling me where were at, and developing its path. Amazing cast fun to watch.

What’s up bro! I saw a take where the “crack” is a nod from Gunn at the fandom, saying look I put the DCU back together it may not look like the one you expected but it’s there with its cracks. Maybe a stretch but I like to think he did this on purpose.
