I hope people aren't too disappointed if she cannot get the surgery. Elderly people do not often heal well and it can be a bigger risk than a benefit, her surgeon will have to carefully consider the risks. Hospital stays can cause a serious deterioration. But she shouldn't have to work for a day longer

the sad part is she will use every last penny of her GoFundMe to also help others even if it means she suffers a bit 🥺 but I hope no one takes advantage or robs her knowing she has money 🤞

It's the same here, our elderly people collect bottles. Maybe to buy bread that day. There is almost no help from social security. A woman came to work to help with utilities, she got 26 euros, which is maybe enough for electricity, and where is the rest, and she has a pension of 350 euros. And our politicians are paid for their apartments with our taxes, plus they have their own real estate, plus they are not even in their own city, they get 70 euros in social assistance for utilities, which is illegal according to our law. It's so heartbreaking. And if your pension accidentally crosses the threshold of a few euros, you don't get any help, not even an Easter bonus, which they used to give 50 euros. So they know how to not pay you the exact pension, they do everything. And I won't even talk about the disabled. But we are also to blame, we don't do anything.
