There’s an authentic Jamaican spot in Fort Worth TX that also has a grocery store inside. The grocery store has been at this location for a minute but serving Jamaican street food is a new addition. While we waited for the food, we checked out the different items they carry and they had jerk seasonings and marinades that you might not be able to find in regular stores along with a lot of other gems. All the food we tasted was definitely on point and a spot we would definitely come back to. Jerk chicken Curry goat Oxtail Curry chicken Snapper We started things off with the beef patties wrapped in coco bread. We loved every dish we tried, everything was well seasoned and had so much flavor. The jerk chicken plate and oxtail plate always comes with the rice and peas and cabbage which is nice. Both of those dishes were ones we’d recommend as they were our favorite. They also have a lot of classic Jamaican dishes like curry goat, curry chicken and even snapper plates as well. Something unique about this spot is the mini icecream parlor they have as well. They make all of their icecream in house and it tasted like it was straight from cold stone. The icecream was nice and creamy and they rotate out their flavors. This spot is definitely worth the drive. From the authentic Jamaican street food, to the Jamaican spices and the icecream, you really get an experience when you come.
