I must have married a unicorn so to speak. i've been married 50 years and unless truely ill my wife has never refused intimacy and still Initiates a large percentage of the time. we're in our 70's and she still makes my snake shake.🥰

as men, we are seeing this issue all wrong. it is up to us, the man, to create that feeling in her to want to be with us. the understanding of this dynamic has been twisted and we are told and learn, through observation, the wrong way to approach this. the comments reflect that misinderstanding

All these men on here talking I tried for years to no avail. Why y’all stay after the first couple months of that. After a month or so of that u know by then she mentally left the relationship so I believe we live very short lives and I ain’t spending life I have left with someone who’s not interested or in love with me.

I've been in counseling for a couple years. I said/felt a lot of these comments. I was frustrated during the period of abstinence, but I focused on other dimensions of my life (gym, reading, resting). I focused on leading my family (chores, logistics), and journaling/feeling through my wounds. My only expectation was to be the man I wanted to be for My family. My wife eventually responded in a positive way to my changes. Now my relationship is better and I'm a different, stronger version of myself. Maybe this can encourage someone out there.

Mid 50’s here, I instigate and she’s ready. (Barring really good reasons) But that’s because she knows I love being close to her, laughing, having fun together. The physical aspect is just a really good bonus. 🥰

I've never been turned down by my wife, & I am not the initiator always... but I've got the hottest and most "into me" wife ever... 13 years... came after a divorce from a 22 yr marriage in a not such a great life as this... & finding THE girl... MY girl, true soulmates & we are also incredibly attracted to each other. we spend MOST of our time together & are very close.
