My ex was found by family advocacy to have committed abuse of a child and command refused to follow recommendations of family advocacy. The situation escalated and I had to go to the courts to get a protective order and then someone from his chain of command, came to the hearing and lied which contributed to the courts dropping the protective order. There was still a military protective order in place until they just decided to drop it with no prior warning and he started coming back to the house and just taking our children away without telling me where they were going or when he was bringing them back. The military enables abusers.
