That’s a wrap! 2024 has been one for the books, quite literally. I have done so much this year. With the release of On the Ever-Lovely Morrow and Dreams In Hiding: After words we go from here, to attending the Sunshine State Book Festival and The NYC Poetry Festival, to so much more, I cannot describe how amazing it is to have been able to share my words with so many, near and far. This journey has not been without its challenges and its grief, but through each step I have been able to feel just how much the power of words holds, how it brings people together, and how it heals. Things have changed so much, from writing so many poems by hand to typing them up, from losing and gaining and failing and exceeding, I have felt the full scope of my emotions and how they served me, how they limited me, and how they have helped me to grow. I will always believe that poetry is a necessity, and never something that is a luxury, and I thank each and every soul that I got to share my words with, that I got to share a moment with. Thank you. My words are my soul, and I am never separate from them. Thank you to those who have believed in me and keep on believing in me every day. As a full time author who also has a day job, I am blessed, I am exhausted a lot, none of this is easy, but oh my how it is worth it. My words are for me and my words are for you, and I will always be grateful to share them♥️ I’m going to prioritize resting for a bit, but I will be back with more soon. Here’s to another year.
