It annoys me so much 😭 like my husband is a very competent parent who knows how to parent without me mothering him. I never had to teach him a thing. We were both starting off brand new so if I could figure it out he can too

yea, you are just lucky. my ex was teaching my 3mo how to turn on a cooker or gave her small toys to grab and chew. and said that baby needs nothing, can be left alone in the house. so... i never left her alone with him. 🙄

My wife works in residential care, while I am lucky enough to work from home. I do the vast bulk of housework, including looking after the kids. I can't even imagine not being able to do so.

When I went back to work people asked me if my daughter was in nursery & I was like no she’s at home with her dad and when I tell you people GASPED. Asked things like ‘did you have to leave him a list of everything he has to do?? How many times has he called you already? You’re going to go home to a huge mess!!’ No he’s her dad he’s extremely capable of taking care of her and not needing my help 🥴
