@sweatsimple: I’ve noticed that when people want to start eating healthier or cooking more at home they immediately jump to: Meal prep And I used to be a meal prep gal! I meal prepped my breakfast and my lunches. But I reached a point where I realized I didn’t want to spend hours of my Sunday cooking food. But at the same time…I KNEW that prep and having lunches I could throw together in 5 minutes was key to me sticking to my healthy eating habits. So what did I start doing instead: Ingredient prep. Instead of prepping a full lunch I started prepping ingredients that I can easily throw together. Usually this means prepping a protein and some sort of carb to add to a bagged salad kit. Ingredient prep could also mean cutting up veggies OR even buying pre-made things like rotisserie chicken to make you more likely to follow through with eating meals at home. Get creative. Prepping for the week is not a one size fits all approach. Find what’s most helpful for YOU. Whether it’s full meal prep, ingredient prep, or buying ready made food that you can throw together in 5 minutes. #caloriecalculator #mealprep #healthymealprep #healthymealideas #macrofriendly
