The tone of the movies isn’t the problem, it’s that they take place in different worlds. The world that The Batman takes place in is CLEARLY a different world/universe than the world of this DC where there are Kijus, and interdentinal imps.

the only way it wouldn’t be completely pointless to make ANOTHER Batman is if they made it a more Adam West tone Batman. he needs to be more campy and fun than a Bale or Pattinson. maybe like a Keaton type

This need to constantly combine story’s is what led to marvels downfall. It’s OKAY if they don’t connect. Matt reeves went into the Batman with a very specific vision for his trilogy. If you’ve seen reeves previous work you know he’s great at the 2nd/3rd movies for trilogy. I just want a good film I don’t need them to collide into this bigger universe. I trust reeves original vision, let him cook w/o having to compromise his artistic vision. there can be two Batman’s, it’s okay. We can get another one that fits into gunns universe a bit better. This will be a huge mistake if it’s combined for both Gunn and Reeves

The framework of the world is the only issue I have… The Batman is presented as a world that isn’t fantastical at all and like there are no superpowered individuals in the world. And if they say it’s a different version of Batman it’s just too confusing for audiences. We need a Gotham that can hold these more fantastical characters and take place in a more fantastical world where people with superpowers do exist.

Its not the tone its how completely different the worlds are, Superman showin up in the battinson universe in that Gotham would look so out of place n weird, n same for battinson showin up in metropolis, battinson universe is too realistic. You need a Batman closer to the animated justice league version for it to work. Please for the love of god keep the reeves battinson universe separate!!!

He just feels too real/set in reality to me, also i just can’t see Battinson being able to handle absolutely anything we saw in Superman. I love him, and wouldn’t be mad in the slightest if they make it work, but i’d prefer a more “Comic-esk” Batman.

I honestly think that you can do a grounded Batman in those films as early in Batman’s career. The Batman is a shift in stakes for him so a time jumped batpat be with the league as the most experienced member of that team

Canonically even in the justice league comics & shows/movies, when both Gotham and Metropolis are shown they are drastically different, Gotham is a city of steel and Metropolis glass, I dont see why this crossover wouldn't work

We got a comic booky Superman and now we need a comic booky Batman, I’m sick of “realistic” dark and gloomy Batman, comic Batman is so much fun and needs to come to the big screen. I think people don’t get it bc they don’t read comics
