I literally wrote an exchange in a fanfic where the two guys were debating this and one was like "no it's not the fastest finish...!" and "no but you can't just trickle on forever and say you win, old man!" and like. I saw a reference to a contest for women where it was who could melt the deepest hole into the snow... so. Volume has to be a major factor?
