To the people in the comments arguing tshd is a BL but the author didn’t and doesn’t want it to be the main focus so yes the characters do have crushes on each other (at least before hikaru died) or they could’ve been dating the only thing that’s confirmed is that it is a BL it’s just not the preferred main focus so let’s not make it the main focus unless the creator is comfortable! And please no arguments about that they weren’t only best friends there’s literally a scene where hikaru gets rlly sad after saying yoshiki wouldn’t have a problem finding a girlfriend (I think a day before his disappearance)

While their relationship isn’t the main focus of story it’s still so important to recognize their feelings for eachother, there’s a reason yoshiki wants to help Hikaru even if it isn’t Hikaru. Yoshiki likes him and the way ppl try and force this idea that their “just friends” completely erases the importance of their relationship to the story itself, I could go on forever abt my boys I love them both oml💔
