Lots of us in the United States have been trying to explain tariffs to MAGA supporters, but even today several people are on social media praising Trump for the revenue that they think other countries paid. They still won’t believe American companies and consumers pay them.

Americans do not realize when Donald Trump implements the tariffs the tax or tariffs are passed on to the consumer. I do not understand how they can't comprehend this. The higher Donald Trump puts the tariffs, the higher Americans pay. And before you go on about the dairy tax, in Canada we have standards on food.

were having major problems with US Clients refusing to pay tarrifs on products we ship that are made in China. they say we're crooks n we have to pay tarrifs

What many people don't realize is how Tariffs or extra costs effect 5he retail price. e. g. Something that costs $100 is quite often sold at $200 if the retailer is using 100% margins🤔 If the product is tariffed at 20% meaning the new cost is $120 then the retail price becomes $240

Maybe if Canada had a full time government this year , things would be going smoother for them, but delaying, and stalling while trying to position that has a risk involved! And will cost them! Again things change , agreements are broken all the time! And the US will not stand idle anymore if we feel it’s not in our best interest!

the US is in serious financial crisis and trump needs to collect tariffs (taxes), in order to pay for million and billionaires tax cuts, he collects from everyone else, he doesn't care if you buy a hat or pay tariffs
