We went up on this about 8 years ago and the power cut out, had to come down at an absolute snails pace on the back up generator. think my mum's still traumatized to this day, the rest of us thought it was hilarious fun.

They used to do Ceilidhs at the Ptarmigan restaurant on a Friday night, nothing beats coming down on that funicular absolutely buzzing after an amazing night and looking over the glorious highlands with twinkling lights dotted about and the stars blazing overhead

Last time I was here I broke my leg (snowblading 20 years ago!) and had to get the train back down to meet the ambulance, after being skidoo’d back up to the top!!! Safe to say I haven’t been skiing since🙈🤣
