You think that flying turd can reach Mach 33? The SR-71 is way more aerodynamic and it can only hit about 3K mph before the plane starts to come apart. 😂🤣

When discovery was announced that it would be going to a forever museum. Ohio jumped on that opportunity to try getting it to come to the United States Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. We did not get it so we put up a fake one.

I was in 2nd grade when it was flown in. It’s the Smithsonian Institution’s piece not Virginia’s.

I'm from Houston and we were shafted with the shuttle. BUT, it shouldn't be yall's that we get, it should be the Enterprise that went to NY for no reason

They won’t be able to move it nonetheless, it’s bolted the ground and the hanger needs to be demolished to move it. Plus the vehicles we need to move it no longer exist.

Two ways to look at it where it’s at is a very popular museum. That seems a very fitting place. The other side of that is that state never had anything to do with the space program Texas did.

If it’s in the Smithsonian, it belongs to the National Museum, the wright brothers flyer and Richard Petty’s 200 win car is in the same museum, as North Carolinian I am glad to have representation of my state there

Let TX give back the USS Lexington back to Pensacola, FL which was its home port and the cradle of naval aviation. It's in Corpus Christi currently so until then they can **** all the way off trying to get Discovery from VA.
