Number 3 is something I’ve realized I’ve been doing very wrong. Any time she said something was wrong to me, my natural instinct is to fix it, when she really was just looking for me to acknowledge why it bothered her, not fix it.

perimenopause is our biggest challenge. 😅 Bless my husband because he really does give me a lot of grace. I'm at the point in my life where I'm just quiet because I can go to calm to rage in seconds, my whole body and mind is changing. I've been making myself do the little things like just putting my leg by his when we are in bed and I'm reading. And telling him how and what I'm goinf through as I'm facing this huge change in my life. I'm mourning the woman that I was and trying to embrace this chapter in my life as a woman. We've been married almost 21 years and I want at least 21 more years.

Married for over 30 years, definately in the roommate phase so my husband decided to leave me, cheat on me, refuse to work on our marriage till 6 months later when he “realized he loved me and couldn’t live without me” and also destroyed his relationship with his adult children . Now he can’t understand why I can’t just move on, after all, he did apologize and wants to make our marriage work now, ya know, after he destroyed all of our lives so he could have a fling and call it a mid life crisis 🤷♀️

Everyone simple steps are different obviously I’m glad it worked out for you. All those little things I would do seem to be expected and I still wouldn’t get the handholding at least let alone the intimacy.
