as bystander with zero investment here: it's easy to project a false tone when y'all don't really know each other too well.. I would dig a lot more into why your friends seemed to agree, I think that's more significant and could lead to much more insight for you.

I think it would behave been beneficial for her to acknowledge your effort and fun date idea prior to shutting it down. The gotcha, ok does come off very dry and short, so I could see where she might be thrown by that. Texting in early dating is tough, I wish more people would talk on the phone 😆 (From a real therapist)
