@barbcs13: My husband is deaf so he usually gets the captioning glasses at the movie theater. Before there was any technology in movie theaters, I would interpret the movies for him. Today we’re seeing Superman with Open Captioning and he’s excited and I’m happy he won’t have to wear the annoying glasses. In a city as large as Miami, this is the only theater to offer Open Captioning. Disappointing but not surprising. Anyone who watches TV at home who is not deaf but enjoys having the captioning would love seeing movies with open captioning. If a person is deaf, like my husband, enjoying the movie like everyone else is priceless. #deaf #opencaption #deaftiktok
