they used to let you ride the bridge for a quarter, and back in the day if you were on it in a car or something and the boat was close you had to stop and go up whether you wanted to or not

I haven't been there in a long time... I was a teenager but we are always so close to Duluth when we get my bonus kids every other weekend. Maybe we will stop there friday

tourist trap. overrated. stay away from the canal park . it was meant for shipping and should remain that way. not a fun fest by the lake. if you come here , walk or shuttle, you will not be parking anywhere and may be robbed by homeless or the city official money grabbers or the locals will escort you out. shipping community. not for tourists.

Didn’t some lady get decapitated many years ago, she got stuck on the bridge and spooked and went to jump and the unthinkable happened? Not to scare anyone. 🤷♀️
