Also, this man traumatized my childhood…mainly just the first…he was so ominous in the first and his silhouette was a lot creepier and eerie. Especially sneaking into Helen’s house, the rooftop during the parade, the Helen chase scene, and Barry’s demise

Despite how ridiculous his plot points are, I would still like to see him included Moore in Halloween memes and decor. We always see Michael Myers, Freddy, Jason, Chucky, Ghostface… But never the fisherman.

Now that I think about it, what if Ben Willis had his son around the whole time in the first one? Like he was close by viewing most or all the kills/interactions? It was like a Father and son thing? That would be a fun/cool twist.🪝

The retconning of his character in the sequel was atrocious. Susie was an only child. No mention of a brother in her obituary. Both Ben and Susie were referred to as locals. Susie was killed in Southport but buried in the Bahamas? Ben's motive stems from his only child being killed. Not to mention the retconning of the year. The sequel takes place in 1998 but should take place in 1999. The accident takes place in 1997 with the Southport murders in 1998. ISK messed up a lot of things.
