the water isnt redirected dear, that is run off from foundation, the property grading would direct the water to same area even without that. In a neighborhood all water is directed in between houses, then it goes to street or behind the house, then drains again. an engineer planned all the drainage when the neighborhood was built, when people start filling in trenches it causes problems.

Easy fix tell him to pay for a $15,000 wall, which is required. No water is allowed to go on a property next-door. Code enforcement!!

Call your insurance company. It’s illegal to do that especially if it puts you at risk for flooding

I successfully sued a neighbor for this. She caused all kinds of issues with my septic system. My yard was so bad after they redirected the water that it literally never dried out. I won the lawsuit and she also had to pay for a French drain on my land to fix her problem.

soon as the water reaches your property you gotta guide it away from your house.

If the tile stuff wasn’t there it’s going to run that way anyway. When they built that house they made sure it was higher than your lot. That’s not redirected. Sorry. Don’t stir the pot. You have no legal actions.
